• Inflammatory bowel disease(crohn’s disease,ulcerative colitis, indeterminate colitis)
• Diagnosis & treatment of acute and chronic GIT Bleeding & Iron deficiency anemia
• Liver diseases including Hepatitis B & C and investigation of Liver dysfunction
• Dyspepsia ,Reflux disease & Celiac disease
• Hepato-pancreato-biliary diseases requiring ERCP
• Endoscopic treatment of bowel polyps and bowel cancer

Qualifications: MBBS , FRACP

 

Training: Trained in New Zealand in Gastroenterology and Hepatiology , NZ Liver Transplant Unit and Internal medicine.

 

Current Employment & practice: Specialist Gastroenterologist & General Physician Middlemore Hospital since 2002.

Actively involved in managing and following up  patients with General Gastroenterology & Liver  problems.

Also perform regular diagnostic ,therapeutic and interventional endoscopy including gastroscopy , Colonoscopy and ERCP.
